As a working mother, I know and I can understand that every mom wants a perfect start to the day. One of the most important reasons for this is that a mother not only has to get ready herself in the morning and reach the workplace at the time but also has to ensure that everyone at home whether husband or kids reach their workplace and school on time. Like every aspect of life, a woman tries to make every possible effort to make her and her family’s morning stress-free and peaceful.
And why not?
But let me tell you no matter how organized and well prepared you are, mornings will never be hustle free. But managing things well can be extremely beneficial and helpful to keep your mornings peaceful and pleasant. Thus making you more productive at work and avoiding unnecessary stress at work.
Perfect Morning Routine
So let’s have a look at what are few ways to make the mornings more blissful and happy.let’s have a look at what are few ways to make the mornings more blissful and happy. Click To Tweet
1. Plan ahead
Planning ahead is really helpful. Making a to-do list for the important things that are to be done in the coming week is useful.
It not only takes unnecessary stress off but also helps you manage your time effectively.
When making a to-do list, it is essential that you prioritize the things according to their importance and allocate adequate time for each of those tasks. When making a to-do list, it is essential that you prioritize the things according to their importance and allocate adequate time for each of those tasks. This will help you keep track of your activities in the coming days and you will be having a clear idea where will you be standing at the end of the week.
Also plan meals for the coming week, it really helps.
2. Utilize weekends
Effective utilization of weekends is really important.
I won’t suggest keeping your weekends super occupied with the pending work, because at the end of the weekend it will leave you more tired and exhausted.
And the weekend is not meant for it.
I would also recommend investing time on self-care and on things or hobbies that make you happy.
3. Get most done at night
My next tip is to do the maximum of the work at night before going to bed. This includes ironing the clothes, packing the bags, and putting house-hold things back in order because waking up to clean and orderly home is pure bliss.
When you are done with most of the chores at night you will definitely feel less stressed and occupied.
4. Go to bed early
Can anyone even disagree with this?
Going to bed early and having a sound sleep is so much beneficial. Thousands of studies are available on this.
I have implemented it in my life and have always felt so fresh and energetic in the morning that getting ready even on Monday mornings has not been a major issue.
So always try to sleep on time and get hold of peaceful sleep.
5. Wake up early in the morning
Setting up the alarm before going to bed is also important.
I usually set up multiple alarms with 10 to 15 mins in between. My first alarm is just to wake me up and I get out of my bed on the second alarm that rings after 10 mins. These golden 10 minutes give me a good push to start the day. My other alarms are just to be on the safe side. But thanks God I always wake up on my first alarm (Thankful to my early going to bed routine).
I have also seen those super people who do not require to set up multiple alarms and they get up on the first and only alarm.
So you can choose any of the style and any amount of alarms you like.
Just don’t forget to wake up on those alarms, because only setting up the alarms will not help.
6. Morning walk
If you can manage to get up early, like if only 10 mins early your usual routine you can save good 10 to 15 mins for a refreshing morning walk. This can be really revitalizing and energetic.
Though I am still not able to include that in my morning routine but I intend to and I hope some good day I will be able to do that. Wish me luck.
7. Have a healthy breakfast
This is one thing I never miss, never means never. I don’t remember a day in my life that I left home without having breakfast. I just can’t. I love having breakfast though it’s always very simple and same but I believe it really boosts my energy and keeps me going.
So I strongly recommend never to skip breakfast. It will be really beneficial for you.
8. Prepare lunch
One important aspect of a mother’s morning routine is to prepare school lunch for the kids. Planning next day’s school lunch, the night before is so important to keep you away from stress in the morning.
I really feel as if my mind has a slow start in the morning, so in that limited time when even my mind is not fully cooperating with me, I find it difficult to decide school lunch for my daughter.
So at night before going to bed I quickly plan in my mind what I will be giving her for lunch tomorrow. It helps me a lot.
9. Leave early for work
I always try to leave for work as early as possible. To make it possible I need to get everything done in time.
Even if you manage to leave home 2 to 3 mins early your usual routine you will experience reaching your workplace 5 to 7 mins early.
I know you will not be awarded for reaching the workplace before time but it will help you avoid all the chaos and traffic problems.
So that’s undoubtedly winsome.
10. Be grateful
Last but not least, be grateful for the blessings you have. Starting a day with a positive thought and a grateful heart foremost. This is essential for a perfect morning routine.
