2. Manage time
Managing time for home chores is equally important as you do that for everything else in life. When once you are done with making a TO-DO list it is important to assign and allocate the possible time every task will take. This further eases your burden and you would have a clear picture in front of you then approximately at what hour of the day you will be done with all the chores. Undoubtedly this will save you some time for family and self-care.
3. Get the family members involved
It is always essential to get other family members involved in daily chores. This will not only lessen your burden but will also increase interaction and understanding amongst the family members. No doubt it is a great way of positive bonding.
You can decide and assign duties as per age. For example, you can ask your husband to help you with cooking, groceries and other outdoor tasks.
And you can ask your children to help you organize toys, books, and other stuff. You can offer them a small surprise when the task is done.
4. Enjoy a good sleep
Yes I know, this point must have taken you by surprise. But the reason behind it is simply that when you have slept well, you are more fresh and energetic to take up the task. Your mind and body both are relaxed and this will help you to finish all the work effectively and well in time. And if due to any reason you are sleep deprived then you may tend to linger on the work. This adding to more stress and depression.
So, maintain a good sleeping routine so that it will keep you going throughout the day.
5. Stick to your routine
Initially when you make a TO-DO list and try to work according to it. You might sort out some pitfalls in it but there is nothing to worry about it. You can always make the necessary changes to it according to your lifestyle. And once when you feel everything is in place and you are managing it well, then there is one last and important step and that is STICK TO IT. Yes, my dear, it is very important. Staying consistent with this routine is as important as is for anything else. This will definitely make your home look clean and more peaceful.
